Donations for the Poor – The Cathedral St. Vincent de Paul Fund
Did you know that the Cathedral rectory is asked daily for assistance in filling in some of the gaps in the social service sector? Donations from you make it possible to give this assistance. We are the rare place to give aid to travelers stranded by extreme circumstances. Help in obtaining documentation necessary for work, or for obtaining prescriptions is also sometimes given. These acts of charity, as well as helping people find the social service agency best equipped to assist their need, are performed daily here at the Cathedral. When you give to the “Offerings for the Poor” collection boxes in the Cathedral, you are donating to the Cathedral's SVdP Fund, which is used to assist the needy that come to us for help. Your continued generosity makes this assistance possible. Thank you!

In addition, the Cathedral has formed a “Church in the City” partership with our nearby neighbor, The Bishop William Cosgrove Center. Envelopes are available in the Church to assist the Cosgrove Center in its ministry to the poor and homeless of downtown Cleveland.
